Ihle Motorsport at the quattrolegende 2026

From July 8 to 11, 2026, Ihle Motorsport will once again participate in the quattrolegende at Lake Wolfgang. Joining them this time is the legendary Audi 200 quattro Rally Gr. A.

The Audi 200 quattro was entered by Audi Sport in the World Rally Championship in 1987 following the end of Group B. Despite its size, the all-wheel-drive sedan quickly became a true crowd favorite. Its victory at the 1987 Safari Rally in particular made the Audi 200 quattro Rally world-famous. A total of only twelve original vehicles of this type were produced.

For many years, the quattrolegende has been one of the most important gathering places for Audi and rally enthusiasts. In addition to vehicle presentations around Lake Wolfgang, the program features demonstration runs, regularity runs, and numerous historic rally cars.

We look forward to a weekend full of motorsport history, legendary vehicles, and genuine quattro passion.

Ihle Motorsport at RallySpirit 2026 in Portugal

From June 4, 2026, to June 6, 2026, the Ihle Motorsport team will travel to RallySpirit 2026 in Portugal. Joining them is the legendary VW Golf 16V Kleint, which has been thrilling fans of historic rally cars for years.

RallySpirit is considered one of Portugal’s most famous motorsport events and impressively combines the history of rallying with a unique atmosphere along the special stages. The VW Golf 16V Kleint stands out with its classic motorsport character, light weight, and unmistakable sound.

Anticipation for the rally weekend is high. Challenging routes, enthusiastic spectators, and a genuine rally atmosphere promise a special event for the team and fans.

Ihle Motorsport is looking forward to exciting days in Portugal and an unforgettable weekend at RallySpirit 2026.

Ihle Motorsport at the 2026 Lavanttal Rally in Austria

From April 9, 2026, to April 11, 2026, the Ihle Motorsport team will once again head to Carinthia, Austria, for the Lavanttal Rally 2026. Wolf-Dieter Ihle and Sven Belz will be at the starting line in the legendary Audi Sport quattro S1.

The Audi Sport quattro S1 is one of the most famous cars in rally history and, like almost no other car, epitomizes the spectacular Group B era. With its short wheelbase, striking appearance, and powerful turbocharged engine, it remains a true highlight for motorsport fans to this day.

Anticipation for the rally weekend is high. The challenging routes around Wolfsberg promise exciting special stages and ideal conditions for a special motorsport experience.

The Ihle Motorsport team is looking forward to the 2026 Lavanttal Rally and a strong weekend in Austria.

Audi S1

This vehicle is one of only 20 of Audi Sport built competition vehicles in Group B and the first in a World Cup run set up by a total of just eight vehicles used for events. Stig Blomqvist and Bjorn Cederberg went to the Rally Argentina at the end of July 1985.

Audi 80 Group 2

Audi officially entered the World Rally Championship in 1979. This vehicle is one of the four built works wagons of Group 4. It was registered with the license plate IN-NS 23 on 21.02.1979 on the Audi AG and immediately used at the Sachs Winter Rallye.

Opel has first launched the Opel Manta 400 as a rally version with homologation no. B237 at the Corsica Rally 1983. This vehicle is the 16th of a total of 38 built vehicles, carries the internal number RM16 and was used by the Rothmans Opel Rally Team.

This is the set from the factory Porsche, the Jackie Ickx 1984 at the 6th Paris-Dakar rally contributed. He is one of only three built Porsche 953 and one of the only ten 4-wheel-drive competition vehicles of all types, that Porsche ever built, and the factory has been established.

In the first half of the 1980s, Volkswagen Motorsport experimented with vehicles fitted with two engines. First attempts with a VW Jetta and a VW Scirocco were followed by three twin-engine vehicles featuring different technologies for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The first prototype was built with 2 Oettinger 1.8 litre engines and tested on June 20th, 1985 on the Volkswagen test ground in Ehra, just 2 days before the airlift to the United States for the race on July 13th, 1985 in Colorado, USA.
