Eifel Rallye Festival – July 2025

From July 24 to 26, 2025, Ihle Motorsport will take part in the Eifel Rallye Festival in the Vulkaneifel region, with driver Wolf Dieter Ihle and co-driver Sven Belz behind the wheel.
The legendary event in Daun brings over 160 historic rally cars to the tarmac and celebrates motorsport heritage with a truly unique atmosphere. Ihle Motorsport will compete in the powerful Opel Ascona 400 RA 48 – a true classic with character that brings rally history back to life. This particular car is the third-to-last of only 36 factory-built works vehicles, internally known as RA 48 and affectionately nicknamed “Gringo” – originally campaigned by the renowned Rothmans Opel Rally Team.
The festival program includes scrutineering and car displays in the city center, followed by a variety of demonstration and regularity stages on Friday and Saturday – including the popular Rally Mile, drag races, and a large stage show.
A true rally fan’s weekend – live on-site in the Eifel or online via the festival channels. We’re looking forward to three days packed with sound, action, and emotion!

Ihle Motorsport at the quattrolegende 2025 – St. Gilgen, July 2–5

After a successful mid-season break, the Ihle Motorsport team is preparing for a very special highlight: from July 2 to 5, 2025, they will take part in the 20th edition of the quattrolegende in St. Gilgen on Lake Wolfgang. The event brings together classic Audi icons and rally legends in one of Austria’s most picturesque locations. Driver Wolf Dieter Ihle will compete in the legendary Audi quattro A1 R44 – one of the last eleven Group B cars of its kind ever built, made famous in the era of Hannu Mikkola and John Buffum. With around 340 hp, this all-wheel-drive classic still delivers impressive performance today thanks to its turbocharged five-cylinder engine, synchronized 5-speed gearbox, and a lightweight construction of just 1,100 kg. In addition to car displays along the lakeside promenade, the event program features regularity runs on the Tauplitzalm alpine road, drag races, and a spectacular rally show at the Gmunden-Laakirchen airfield. Motorsport up close – we’re looking forward to a weekend full of passion, sound, and history!
